NHS BOYS SOCCER SEPT 9th UPDATE!!!! BREAKFAST TICKET SALES BEGINS NOW!!!!

The following important informational updates are posted below.

 

1.  Thursdays JV game vs. EWG has been canceled-  Reason -  EWG does not have a JV coach yet.  We will look to see if the schedule provides room to reschedule.

 

2.  The boys should have received 10 tickets, directions and an envelope for breakfast sales for our NHS Boys Soccer Breakfast Fundraiser on 9/27 8-11am @ Oceanside at the Pier.

      - The boys should be selling for the next two weeks and then getting unsold tickets and money in to me so we can determine a count for the restaurant.  Cash or check is permitted.  If anyone is writing a check they should make it out to NSS Narragansett School System.

     - In regards to help from parents.  I will need some parents to help the day of the event to orchestrate the boys as servers and bussers and keeping them moving.  Each class will serve for 45 minute shifts which will include set up and break down.

 

3.  The boys are looking into pre-match jerseys for this season and will be placing an order with We Got Soccer this week.

 

4.  The JV game on 10/18 has also been canceled due to PSAT conflicts with all schools involved in their Homecoming.  The varsity game has been moved to 3:45 from 2pm that day.  We will be rescheduling the jv game on a different day.

 

5.  Injuries-  Any boy with an injury needs to see a coach and the trainer for documentation purposes.  We want to ensure that all boys are safe and receive the appropriate treatment.  Any boy that sees a doctor during the season must notify coaches and the trainer and present a signed note from the doctor advising treatment and permission to resume full contact without restrictions.

7.  Please say hello to some new members of the program Eike from Germany and Leonardo from Italy will begin practicing and playing with us this fall.  They are foreign exchange students staying with the Page family that hosted Day from Tailand last year.

 

See you all today for our Varsity Game @ 3:45 and JV game @ 5:15 vs. Westerly @ NHS.  Varsity Boys should be dressed and ready to play at 3pm and JV players should plan on arriving for 3:30.
